The main objective of the GSEU project is to develop and make permanently available a pan-European geological data infrastructure and related information services to support the sustainable and secure use of Europe’s subsurface and its resources.
In particular, the project will:
- Develop harmonized pan-European data and information services,
- Build upon the existing European Geological Data Infrastructure (EGDI), and
- Strengthen the national and regional network of Geological Surveys across Europe.
