The Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.) invites interested companies to submit non-binding financial offers for verifying the reasonable cost of supplies, in accordance with mandatory provisions related to project proposals submitted for inclusion in the Operational Programmes of the NSRF 2021–2027.
The submitted Project/Action concerns:
1. The preparation of hydrogeological maps following a hydrogeological study, based on the development of a Geoinformation System for the Management and Visualization of Geospatial Data. Its main background will be a model dynamic hydro-lithological map resulting from the synthesis of the 1:50,000 sheets of the Geological Map of Greece, prepared by the Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.), combined with data collected during the project’s fieldwork activities.
2. The creation of a modern telemetric monitoring network for the brackish spring of Almyros, Heraklion, Crete, in real time, to quantify the exploitable – suitable volumes of water from the spring for potential use (water supply, irrigation, storage and/or aquifer recharge).
This invitation concerns Subproject No. 5 “TELEMETRIC MONITORING NETWORK OF THE ALMYROS SPRING, HERAKLION, CRETE” of the submitted project proposal (OPS code 6018172) “HYDROGEOLOGICAL RESEARCH AND PREPARATION OF HYDROGEOLOGICAL MAPS IN SELECTED GROUNDWATER SYSTEMS FOR ADDRESSING THE IMPACTS OF THE CLIMATE CRISIS ON THE COUNTRY’S GROUNDWATER POTENTIAL”, for inclusion in the Operational Programme “ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE”, following Call No. 10858 by the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme Environment, Climate Change & Circular Economy (EYD PEKA&POLPRO), with the HELLENIC SURVEY of Geology and MINERAL EXPLORATION (H.S.G.M.E.) as the sole beneficiary.
Subproject No. 5 includes the supply and installation of modern telemetric stations for measuring the quantity and quality of the waters of the brackish Almyros spring in Heraklion, Crete; telemetric precipitation stations for correlating rainfall amounts with the spring water discharge; and telemetric borehole stations measuring water level, temperature, and conductivity. The data from these telemetric stations will be recorded and transmitted remotely to an online environmental data software platform included in the supply. Additionally, the procurement will include portable flow measurement equipment (electromagnetic flowmeter) and borehole water level meters for on-site inspection and calibration of the installed fixed systems in the wider area. The portable field equipment will support the collection of necessary time-correlated data for investigating the hydrogeological conditions of the study areas (including personnel training for proper use of the equipment).
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVITATION
This invitation concerns the submission of non-binding offers for the supply of the following eight (8) categories:
1. One (1) Telemetric Floating Station
2. Two (2) Telemetric Rainfall Stations
3. Two (2) Telemetric Flow Measurement Stations
4. Three (3) Telemetric Borehole Stations (Water Level, Temperature, Conductivity)
5. Web-based software platform with six-year data hosting for telemetric stations
6. Portable Electromagnetic Flowmeter
7. 300m Borehole Water Level Meter
8. 200m Borehole Water Level Meter
