The subject of this contract is the provision of services for the execution of bathymetric, geological, and sedimentological surveys on the seabed of selected areas (the wider area of Skyros), which includes the supply of a suitable oceanographic vessel and the necessary scientific equipment, for the fulfillment of the following objectives:
(a) Detailed morphological mapping of the seabed in selected areas using an echo-sounding system,
(b) Seismic profiling of the seabed and its subsurface using echo-sounding devices,
(c) Sampling of surface and sub-surface sediments from the seabed using:
aa) van veen grab sampler,
bb) box-corer sampler, and
cc) gravity corer.
The Contractor selected through this tender shall be responsible for:
(a) Providing qualified and experienced personnel (to cooperate with the staff of the Contracting Authority),
(b) Supplying the necessary technical, information, and marine equipment, and
(c) Performing all offshore operations.
A detailed description of the technical and financial scope of this tender is provided in ANNEX I. The Technical Specifications are provided in ANNEX VII.
The estimated value of the contract for the provision of the aforementioned services amounts to one hundred and ninety-nine thousand five hundred euros (€199,500.00) excluding VAT, or two hundred and forty-seven thousand three hundred eighty euros (€247,380.00) including VAT (24%).
