The Hellenic Authority for Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.), within the framework of its responsibilities, undertakes research projects that can be classified according to their source of funding as follows: [1] ESPA Projects – included in the Operational Programs of the E.S.P.A., [2] APDE – EPA Projects – included in the Public Investment Program, [3] Competitive Projects – directly funded by the European Union, [4] Third-Party Projects – funded by external entities, and [5] EHEEATH Projects – funded by revenues from the auctioning of greenhouse gas emission rights.
