H.S.G.M.E.’s dedication to the geoscientific community continues through the ongoing enrichment of its library’s high-quality collection.
Twenty-five new atlases from European and Asian countries have been added to the existing archive of global history and geography available at the H.S.G.M.E. library.
The geological history of the Earth is presented through a wide range of maps and analyses covering all countries worldwide. Geological, geochemical, geothermal, rock, and ocean atlases from Greece and across the globe are available for study by the public.
Most of these atlases are now archival and therefore invaluable for future generations of geoscientists, as the majority cannot be obtained from other sources (bookstores, online platforms, etc.). They originate from reliable institutions (research centers around the world) and have been produced by expert authoring teams with many years of experience.
These high-quality hardcover editions, featuring high-resolution maps, detailed photographs, and accompanying explanatory texts, contribute to the preparation of well-documented studies conducted both by H.S.G.M.E. staff and by universities in Greece and abroad.
The rich and valuable collection currently held and made accessible by H.S.G.M.E. demonstrates its strong commitment to promoting knowledge, research, and learning.
