On April 6, 2021, the Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Angelos Syrigos, visited the facilities of the Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.) in Acharnes.
Mr. Syrigos toured the Authority’s facilities, including the Museum of Minerals and Rocks of H.S.G.M.E., where he signed the guest book. The General Director of H.S.G.M.E., Mr. Andreas Tsokos, the Deputy General Director of Projects, Mr. Dionysis Goutis, and the Deputy General Director of Finance, Mr. Kostas Zombos, discussed with him the new educational program of H.S.G.M.E. for schools, as well as the role of geosciences within the country’s new academic framework.
