The Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.) participated in the development of the EuroGeoSurveys Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda through the National Representative, Dr. Kostas Laskaridis, Director of Mineral Resources and Mining.
The document outlines the research priorities and scientific topics of the 37 Geological Institutes of Europe, serving as a practical guide for joint projects with the ambition of establishing a “Geological Service for Europe.”
The goal of these collaborative research projects is to transfer geoscientific data and knowledge to national and European policymakers, international forums, as well as to the general public, aiming to promote significant changes in the consumption and management of geological resources (soil, water, raw materials, energy, etc.).
