Construction work on the new National Geological Museum of H.S.G.M.E. continues at a steady pace. The project has been included in the Green Fund’s financing program titled “NATURAL ENVIRONMENT & INNOVATIVE ACTIONS 2021,” with a total budget of 13 million euros, under Priority Axis AP 1: “ACTIONS FOR THE CONSERVATION OF BIODIVERSITY, INNOVATIVE ACTIONS – SMART CITIES – OTHER INITIATIVES.”
The National Geological Museum is expected to be completed in the coming months, encompassing a wide range of educational and outreach activities for schools, focusing on the sustainability of mineral raw materials and the geological cultural heritage.
