The expansion of cooperation between the H.S.G.M.E. and the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace was the focus of a meeting held on June 15, 2021, between the Head of the Regional Unit, Dimitris Exioglou, and the Regional Governor, Christos Metios, in the presence of Anastasios Paraschos, General Director of Infrastructure of the Region.
During the meeting, special reference was made to the work of the H.S.G.M.E. and its contribution to the local community since its establishment. The areas of activity of the Regional Unit of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace were discussed, and among other topics, the Region requested the H.S.G.M.E.’s assistance in locating quarry sites (for aggregates) as well as its potential participation in the Region’s NSRF-funded projects.
