Students from the International Center for Hellenic and Mediterranean Studies (DIKEMES) visited the National Geological Museum housed within the facilities of the Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (ΕΑGME).
The students, primarily from the United States, are studying classical antiquity and the social sciences with a focus on Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. Their visit aimed to deepen their understanding of Greece and its rich cultural heritage.
The purpose of the visit was to help participants become acquainted with Greece’s geological heritage and to appreciate its vital role in shaping the country’s historical and cultural evolution.
