At the EPIRUS REGIONAL UNIT (PMI), the Accredited Laboratory of Chemical Analyses operates, where chemical analyses of water, rocks, and ores are conducted. Specifically, the laboratory carries out:
- Chemical analyses of all types of geological samples.
- Chemical analyses and physicochemical determinations of water samples of all kinds, and in particular drinking water samples.
Many municipalities, communities, as well as private individuals and bottled water companies, cooperate with our laboratories for the continuous quality control of drinking water.
At the PMI laboratory, chemical determinations are carried out on a large number of water samples from across the country within the framework of the DIPYN project.
