The Bottled Water Quality Control Laboratory of HSGME operates under the Directorate of Analytical Laboratories and has been active for 40 years, exclusively dedicated to the comprehensive testing of drinking water. The Laboratory is staffed with experienced scientific and technical personnel and is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure. Its capability to perform chemical and microbiological testing of bottled water has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 (Certificate No. 71) by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD).

All tests are carried out in accordance with Standard Greek and International Methods (ELOT and ISO), using state-of-the-art scientific equipment, including: IC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, FAAS, GFAAS, TOC Analyzer, HPLC, GC (μECD, NPD, FID), ICP-OES, HGAAS, FTIR, UV-VIS.
The Laboratory serves nearly the entire bottled water industry, as well as Municipal Water Utilities, private companies, and any stakeholder requiring reliable and indisputable testing of water intended for human consumption.
