QUALITY DEVELOPMENT & CONTROL DEPARTMENT.
The Development & Infrastructure Department (DANY) supports the Authority’s vision of utilizing natural resources with full respect for the environment, recognizing geosciences as one of the pillars of sustainable development. It contributes to the growth of the Authority by assisting research units in creating or identifying short- and medium-term value that responds to Greece’s immediate development needs, while ensuring efficiency in the use of resources and full compliance with legislation and health and safety regulations at work. Within the DANY operates, among others, the Quality Development & Control Department (TAPE).
Quality Development & Control Department (TAPE)
The core mission of TAPE is to ensure the continuous development and adaptation of the Authority to the evolving needs of Greek society. These needs are shaped by the gradual depletion of natural resources, the demand for new products, the need for high-quality raw materials, the development of improved products & services, and environmental constraints. In this context, TAPE:
- Designs the Authority’s strategic and operational development plan and supports the planning and coordination of its actions and projects, in close collaboration with other service units.
- Monitors the progress of action plans and projects to ensure compliance with program management requirements, optimal use of resources, and the quality of provided services.
- Collects and processes data for the preparation of the Authority’s annual program and research report.
- Promotes opportunities for submitting project proposals to National, Co-funded, and other European Union programs across the Authority’s research units.
